Dance Dance Evolution??

Many of you have been dancing. And if you are reading my blog, then that's almost a given. There are many styles of dance that have, but I am still amazed at how much we have changed in the last few decades. For example, in the 1920s, this was big:

(The one on the far right is my cousin...)

And this was really big! I mean flappers were the junk, right? But lets move forward and look at this:

(Those are my parents right there!)

So we went from innocent kneecaps showing to showing the thigh. Now in the words of my grandmother: "The mo' thigh you sho', the more ho you go."  Well said...

The 70s are self explanatory. Crazy people, hair growing in size, tight, jacked up pants and poofy attachments. Yes. The 70s were as innocent as Scar in Mufasa's death.

But the 90s started a scary trend as seen below:

(Grandma was a flapper then and will forever be so.)

But today, dancing is at it's most powerful point.

(This explains everything.)

  1. Hrmmm... pole dancing sounds fun. There's classes for that.
